Why I didn't buy make up as frequent as before.

Berbalik kepada topik, Why I didn't buy make up as frequent as before.  Nak dekat 2 tahun yang lepas, I sangat2 aktif dalam membeli make up dan tools nya, baik high end products, drug store make ups mahupun Korean make up.

So.. kenapa jarang dah sekarang? WHY?

1. Jimat. I'm a bit paranoid with fake make up tp make up ori memerlukan bajet lebih hahaha.

2.  DAH JUMPA MAKE UP PRODUCTS FAVOURITE DAN BOLEH PAKAI BANYAK KALI TANPA RASA NAK TUKAR TRY YG BARU. Ni sebab yg palinggg penting sebab point nombor 1 tu adalah point boleh ubah.


Basically they are my daily make up, raya make up, event make up. Siapakah mereka?


1. APIEU Mineral 100 Tone up Sun powder (Mint)

Brought this at Althea but they has been discontinued now :( Mana nak carikkkk!

Price : RM 21

What I like about it?

- Long lasting for hourssss

- Really cover up what I need to cover even without applying foundation / BB Cream

- Light, tak rasa panas atau serabut atau gatal so far.

Cons?

- Because it is a loose powder. So kena tuang dia atas bekas sebelum apply, kadang2 terlebih membazir, kadang2 terkurang kena tuang semula.

Stars and repurchase?

9/10 stars and definitely wanna repurchase it!

I've tried multiple products. Some are heavy, some are oxidizing in a short time- oil and darken. But this one is my favorite!

2. Lizly What a Lovely Palette

Brought this also at Althea but already sold out :(

Price : RM 34

What I like about it?

- Long lasting

- The colours.... really my favorite!!!

- No reaction to my skin so far.

- Easy to bring anytime anywhere.

Cons?

- IDK kalau tak reti jaga atau temperature tak sesuai, tapi ada palette (Lovely Night) crack dan buat sepah bag :(

- Takde provided applicable brush.

Stars and repurchase?

8/10 stars and definitely wanna repurchase it!

I always always use this product, more than my high end eyeshadow collection!

3. Skinfood Fresh Fruit Lip & Cheek Trio

Brought this also at Althea.

Price : RM 33

What I like about it?

- The smell!

- It can be used for both cheek and lip (Tapi jarang guna untuk lip sebab tak sesuai sangat)

- 3 in 1 colour!

- The texture - creamy bukan powder, sangat2 suka! Can apply without brush.

- Long lasting for hours.

Cons?

- For hygienation purpose, lagi elok guna brush tapi tak provided.

9/10 stars and definitely wanna repurchase it!

4. Etude House Drawing Eye Brow Pencil

My sister brought this at Etude House Korea

Price : Around RM 12

What I like about it?

- Colour dia tak pekat sangat, so tak comot.

- Easy to apply.

Cons?

- Non so far.

5. Tony Moly Backgel Eyeliner

Brought this at Althea.

Price : RM 17

What I like about it?

- Favourite eyeliner ever!

- Sebab tak pro, tapi yg ni senang sangat nak apply!

- Dah lah senang nak padam kalau comot.

- Ada brush sekali!

- Senang bawak travel

Cons?

- Non so far.

6. Missha The Style 4D mascara

Brought this at Althea.

Price : RM 16

What I like about it?

- My best mascara so far.

- Not easily clump.

- Easy to apply.

- Pretty finishing.

Cons?

- Sometime it do clump (When I applied it at my sister's hahaha)

Stars and repurchase?

9/10 stars and if I do always wear mascara I'll gladly wanna purchase it, but because I always skipped mascara's steps, so... yeah haha.

7. Onsaemeein velvet moist lip tint

Brought this at Althea.

Price : RM 22

What I like about it?

- Velvet finishing.

- Pretty colour

- Cute!

- Senang bawak travel

- Pigmented and long lasting.

Cons?

- Waktu mula2 pakai dulu rasa mcm senang hilang coour tapi lama-lama pakai rasa okay pulak!

8. Etude House Bling Bling Eyestick in West Sky Sunset

Brought this at Althea.

Price : RM 18

What I like about it?

- Colour cantik

- Pigmented!

- Can be used for both as eyeshadow or eyeliner

- My emergency eyeshadow - waktu nak cepat atau waktu malas - atau waktu nak natural style je

- Senang bawak travel

Cons?

- Non so far.

9. Etude House Berry Delicious Lip tint

Brought this at Etude House's outlet

Price : RM 70+

What I like about it?

- Nice smelllll.

- Very pigmented!

Cons?

- Susah sikit nak hilang.

8/10 stars and definitely wanna repurchase it (If I have extra budget because quite pricey...)

10. Etude House big concealer tip

My sister brought this at Etude House Korea

Price : RM 24

What I like about it?

- Coverage & pigment dia wowwww. Mengalahkan this high end product yg i ada!

Cons?

- Quite thick so kalau terletak extra cam membazir hahaha

Swatches & Review : Berrydelicious Liquid Lips & soft matte lip cream (SMLC) NYX!

Sebenarnya dah lama nak type post ni... tapi... hahaha, sorry for the delay. So harini kite nak review 2 products ni : Berrydelicious liquid lips daripada Etude House & soft matte lip cream (SMLC) daripada NYX. Tapi NYX ni kite takdelah nak review beriya sebab rasanya dah well known dia punya texture etc kan.

Etude House Berrydelicious Liquid Lips.

*Rasanya siapa yg follow ig kite atau setia baca blog kite mesti tahu kite suka guna product Etude House kan xD*

Box.

Okay, basically, they offer 10 variety of colours to choose, tapi dalam kumpulan merah - pink macam tu lah. Biru hijau hitam takde okayy. Tapi yang kite akan review harini 3 colours je. Code : PK 014, PK 015, RD 305.

Lain-lain infos macam berat, ingredients apa semua boleh check dekat website diroang : Etude House - Berrydelicious liquid lip .

Sekarang kite akan tunjuk bila dah swatch dekat tangan husband kite :

Pink. Pink. Red.

PK 014 :

- A little softer pink.

- From out of tube, my personal view, dia macam ada bagi bau gula melaka sikit.

PK 015 :

- More stronger pink.

- Banana scent.

RD 305 :

- Red. Not so orange nor maroon.

- Chewing Gum scent.

*Scents are based on my personal view okay :)*

Closed up sikit.

My positive remarks on this products:

- Texture dia macam liquid creamy sikit.

- So dia tak bagi dry effect on lip.

- So lagi, dia mcm bagi moisturized, fresh looking lip.

- Very light weight on lip. Sangat-sangat selesa sebab tak panas. 

- Ada tint effect sikit. So tahan lama jugak.

- Bau wangi.

- Colour cantik, packaging menarik.

- I like the applicator, senang nak apply.

- Dia ada state expired date so tak payah gigih nak kira.

My negative remarks:

- Kadang2 kalau macam terlebih sangat pakai, macam terstain kat gigi tapi no problem sebab boleh hilangkan dengan pantas. Macam lipstick lain.

- Sebab dia bagi tint effect kadang2 susah nak padam kalau in rush. Hahah.

- The price a little bit pricey. Waktu beli dulu dalam RM 70+ , tapi tak tahu latest price berapa.

Rupa lepas kena padam dengan tissue.

Overall, out of 5 stars, I would give :

- Texture : 4/5

- Colours : 4/5

- Tint effect : 4/5

- Scent : 4/5

Dekat Malaysia, products Etude House ni boleh dibeli dekat outlet-outlet dia (lokasi boleh check dekat website dia eh : Etude House Malaysia), tapi yg sy selalu pergi dekat Setapak Sentral (Previously known as KL Festival City) & One Utama. Atau boleh beli direct daripada website dia, tapi ada shipping cost lah. Hehe.

Berrydelicious liquid lips ni sekarang one of my favourite lip products! (Tapi tak suggest colours ni untuk orang yg tak suka quite striking colour). I really love it!

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream

Okay this well known products tak perlu lah kite ulas panjang2 kan hahaaa. Cuma nak tunjuk few colours bila swatches je sebab kadang2 yg dalam advertisement macam sedikit lain daripada reality kan.

Basically, I like to wear this products when I'm in not-wanted-so-strikingcolour-so-lets-go-for-matte mood.

Istanbul, Milan, Ibiza, Amsterdam, Morocco.

Swatch on my husband's arm:

Morocco :

- I brought this because I wanted kinda orange lipstick. Turned out more orange then I've expected.

- So jarang pakai dekat luar sebab tak confident lagi nak pakai lipstick orange sangat...

Amsterdam :

- I really love the colour.

- Tapi mcm biasa jarang pakai dekat luar sebab belum level 100 confident lagi hahaha.

Ibiza :

- Not so pinkish pink.

Milan :

- Purplish pink.

Istanbul :

- Soft pink.

- Personally this is my favourite colour. I've brought another tube.

- I'd wear this colour during my solemnization.

Rupa lepas kena padam dengan tissue.

Overall, out of 5 stars, I would give :

- Texture : 4/5

- Colours : 4/5

- Tint effect : 3/5

- Scent : 4/5

Quick review products ! Etude House Beauty Shot Face Blur & Golden Ratio Face Glam

Soooo harini kite nak bagi quick review 2 products ni :

Annyeong! (Cewah dan dan anyeong mementang Korean Products en...)

I've been a fan of Etude House products since few years already i think... biasalah memula terpengaruh dengan kengkawan asal cam lawa gila dorang pakaiii, pastu start beli sikit sikit sikit sikit... haha. Etude House ni ada few outlets dekat Malaysia. So, senang nak beli barang direct kalau malas nak beli online, cumanya tak semua barang dalam international website ada dekat outlet. (Sedih, being eye-ing this products for few months... haha tp bagus la jugak save duit!)

Anyway let's started!

1. Etude House Beauty Shot Face Blur.

Apa function benda ni? Ni yg kite copypaste daripada website :

"Beauty Shot Face Blur is an effective ‘Multi Blur Cream’ which has the same effect as Photoshop or application on smartphones as smoothing and toning up the skin. 

The baby pixel powder known as ‘blur powder’ makes the skin texture soft and smooth pores and bumps. Also the cover powder reflects the light in different directions to tone up the skin into transparent and multi 3 in 1 skin correction.

The micro size airy skin powder is included to control the sebum and covers the skin lightly for long lasting smooth face."

Dalam erti kata lain dia bagi finishing texture kulit untuk jadi lembut, pores pun takdelah obvious sangat cemtu.

It comes in pump. Packaging and bottle dia sangat lah comel. Jarang barang Etude House ni tak comel...... sensitive betul bebarang comel ni hahahaha.....

Texture Beauty Shot Face Blur ni sangaaatlah softy creamy more to liquid. Bukan cream yg baling tak jatuh jatuh tu, yg ni senang mengalir.


And bila apply, dia bagi efek whitening jugak. So sape yg tak fond benda2 yg boleh alter warna kulit ni, highly tak suggest lah. (For alternative nak cover pores, I would like to suggest products daripada Benefit)


So.... untuk bagi lagi nampak, tetibe kawan kite kena jadi model paksarela. Hahaha thank you! Gigih tau carik model nak bagi nampak effect dia....

I dont know kite letak sikit ke atau dalam kamera ni dia tak berapa jelas sangat, but pretty much you can see the pores have been covered over there. Kan Kan Kan Kan Kan?

Overall, taktahu lah kite ni memang jenis lepas dah beli barang, positive dengan barang tersebut supaya tak menyesal di kemudian hari ke apa, but I would like to give this products 4/5 stars sebab kite tak gemar sangat very liquid creamy products sebab tak reti nak control berapa banyak nak letak haha...

Oh lupa. harga dalam website : RM 111.

2. Golden Ratio Face Glam

Description website :

"Etude House's Golden Ratio aesthetic makeup line. This 2 in 1 highlighting base and brightening eye makeup accentuates facial features to beautify according to ideal proportions."

So basically products ni dia 2 in 1. Ada partition untuk highlighting base & satu lagi katanya brightening eye make up.

Okay yg kat atas ni rasanya untuk brightening eye make up. But to be honest, kite jarang sangat sangat guna bahagian ni, as you can see how clean it is :) So... untuk bagi full review, sorry tak membantu.

Comot sebab.... tertumpah..... zzz

Tapi untuk part ni kite sangat sangat sangat suka!! Eventhough dia liquid creamy, tapi takpe hahaha. Rasanya ni highlighting base.

Tapi kite guna more to part highlighting (Even put it on bb cream, not before apply bb hehehe). Walaupun hari yg kite tak pakai bb cream atau apa-apa make up yg lain, tapi kite ter----rajin nak pakai sedikit make up, kite akan oleaskan bahagian ni sikit atas pipi dan sapu-sapu. (Please dont follow me tak ikut dia punya base untuk base, ikut cara sendiri je hahaha takpelah makeup untuk enhance confident kan? Hiks)

Bagi kite, it gives effect of course highlighting en, and a little bit whitening pinkish and shimmering glowing glowing, but still looks natural :D Tapi takyah apply banyak sangat sebab idk either orang (Sorang) tu taktahu ni highlighting ke apa dia cakap nampak oily. Nevertheless, i still love it and ada je orang bagi comment positive & tanya pakai apaaaa.

One more added point why i love this product particularly highlighting part is very minimal use soooo jimat! Sekali guna tu berapa titik je. (Tak ingat dah berapa bulaaaaan guna dan still banyak lagi taktahu lah sebab jarang make up ke apa kan....)

Price dia tak ingat berapa.... sebab been awhile since I've purchased it.

Sekian review products saya secara ringkas. Kite memang suka Etude House punya products (eh dah berapa kali bagitahu?) particularly Golden Ratio Face Glam ni, Suprice stick concealer, Sun BB Cream and Styling eyeliner (tp sekarang cam susah nak dapat asyik habis stock je....).

Waktu reception haritu insyaAllah kite make up guna both products ni

(tho tak ingat guna highlighting base as base atau highlighter hahaha) :D

So... I've been requested  to do make up tutorial, especially the concept that I've applied during my wedding day. But thing is, I cannot do those tutorials because of several reasons, which are....

1. I'm too lazy to edit video.
2. I dont know how to do it actually. Hahahaha
3. I'm just a super super super amateur who i-dont-know-where-I-get-the-confidence to make up myself.
4. Biggest reason is my husband looks like 80% more to : No make up tutorial with yourself in it. Hahaha soooo.


But I'm soo excited to share the make up products that I've used during my wedding day. So eventhough there is no tutorial video, I hope this still will helps a lot kayh! Anyway, if you still insisted to watch tutorial's video, here are the youtube links which I referred to a lot. Hehehe :

First of all, i like sweet and natural make up, i mean not too heavy. As for me, make up is for enhance the beauty. Imean, everybody is beauty as themselves, right. So, make up is too cover any flaws like scars due to pimples or anything, tired eyes, to look fresher, to boost up our confidence, things like that.


Okay enough of bebelan. Let's get started. Oh by the way, below are the make up products that I used for my reception. Sebenarnya tak ingat betul-betul steps or the colours that I used, tapi ni lebih kurang lah. Hehehe.


1. Prep.

I'm using Clean&Clear Oil Control Film. I think this is the limited edition one and it has great smell. And colour :P This is essential for absorb excess oil on face.

Moisturiser. The one that I used is from Nano White. After apply moisturiser, leave it for seconds to a minute. Dont apply make up when it still wet okay!

And.... brushes.

2. Face.

First, Primer. This is Stay Flawless primer by Benefit. I got this free when I brought their foundation, hikhik.

Next, to cover up visible pores, saya sapukan sikit Beauty Shot Face Blur by Etude House, tak perlu guna berus, guna jari jemari jeww. Letakkan dekat bahagian pores nampak dengan jelas, bukan satu muka sebab BSFB ni dia cam bagi putih and dewy sikit, so taknak la nampak capuk sangat en.

And actually I applied this later, but I think this step should be before we apply foundation, so I put this step here.

 I applied this colour correcting concealer by Nyx. The colour that I used were Green : For redness like ex-acne redness and peach for lingkaran gelap bawah mata. And also normal colour conceler which is light brown. I didnt remember the function of other colours.... sorry....

Next is, foundation.

The one that I used for my solemnization was Nars. But actually the seller post me different shades than I request, but it's okay. Pemilihan warna foundation yg betul sangat penting okay btw :) 

And the one that I used on my reception was Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow by Benefit in code colour Champagne I guess. I pick a colour lighter than my face colour to match my hand.

I'm using beauty blender or something like spongy sponge to blend it well (Forgot to take photo, sorry!)

Next using fingers, I applied Nars creamer concealor under my eyes, in triangular shape in which apex is directed towards the cheeks. This creamer concealer also useful to conceal around the brows, but do not put too much as it may look... weird ?

And Etude House Stick Concealer to cover up other imperfections like acne scars etc. And useful to conceal around the mouth.

Next, by using a blending brush, I set the concealer by Make Up For Ever Loose Powder.

3. Eyes.

Honestly, I really love this Styling Pencil Eyeliner in Brown by Etude House, even in my daily used!

Using that pencil liner, I enhance my brow shape outline starting from the center which is around 2/3rd from the back of the brows, backward. Maksudnya macam enhance dari tengah ke belakang.

And then by using Naked By Urban Decay Eyeshadow Pallette, I'm filling between the outline's gap.

I didn't remember well in which colour that I used, but I think antara colour smog or darkhorse untuk 2.5/3rd from backward and the rest (kat tengah-tengah, eyebrow yg dekat dengan hidung tu) in half baked.

And then I applied eye primer from Urban Decay in which also i got free during purchase the eyeshadow pallette.

Using blending brush, I applied this Peach blusher I think... by Kate as the eyeshadow. Just because I love the texture and colour.... Haha sorry...

I applied it on almost 2/3rd of the upper eyelid to the base of brow bone.

And then, I applied half baked at the center to outer half of my upper eyelid. I think I've putted some maroon or reddish eye shadow colour by maybelline on the crease of my eyelid to give deeper definition but again... sorry takdo gambaaar.

And then, virgin/sin to the inner corner of the eye to brighten up the eye a lil bit.

(The white love stickers are the additional colour that i used for my solemnization look i think)

And then, using Catrice Eyeliner, I line the upper eyelid, a little thicker at the outside than the inside , make a small wing and fill in the gap to make it to look longer. Then, using the marker like pen liner by Etude House, touch up touch up sikit.

And again, take out this pallette using smog colour, apply a little bit on outer lower lid. At the inner side i think i've put some pinkish shadow by maybelline or using smog code too (can't recall...).


And then line lower eyelid by Pencil Liner. Slightly thicker at the outside than the inside.

Take out lashes curler, applied it and put on some mascara. For my reception, I'm using a little bit of Maybelline and Nyx mascara and then Dr Mascara Fixer by Etude House as brow mascara (Because it is colourless hehe)

While for my solemnization, I'm just using Dr Mascara Fixer by Etude House as the mascara.

4. Face skin again and Cheeks.

To brighten up the complexion to match (or a lil bit lighter) my hand's colour, I'm using Geisha Shincha Matcha Green Tea Compact Powder by Cathy Doll. It has really nice Green Tea smell. I applied it on area like center of forehead, pipi oleskan sikiiit je.

Pastu, I guna contour (small round pallete) by Nyx untuk darker tone of the contour. Pastu blend it with lighter brown colour untuk contour guna V-line Slim Maker by Etude House. Blend blend blend

Actually I didnt remember either I'm using this or not. Dia ada 2 in 1 function. Bahagian bawah mcm creamer sikit, I think something for base or something, tp on my rajin day, usually on daily used I used it as highlighter. Dekat bahagianatas penutup tu mcm blusher yg dewy dewy sikit.

Next, I put on some blusher.

For solemnization, I used that pinkish blusher tapi tak ingat nama by Etude House.

For reception, I used that orange-ish-liquid-like blusher tak ingat nama lagi, by Cathy Dolls. 

Pehtu alter-alter sikit benda yg patut. Put on a little bit Loose Powder using Powder brush ke apa ke. Tone up highlighter ke. Hehe.

5. Lip.

Conceal around mouth sikit guna stick concealer (Opional actually to cover darker part).

Pastu I apply a little bit lip primer. I'm using one from Too Faced.

And then put on some colour on them! My favourite is Nyx lipcream Istanbul Code. I'm using it for both reception and solemnization!

I'm using that Maybelline Velvet Matte code colour tak ingat hahahaha waktu awal-awal majlis resepsi.

And Elianto in code M02 for after majlis punya indoor photoshoot (and my daily basis time tengah rajin!).

Pastu touch up touch up sikit. Highlight mana yg patut.

5. Set.

And then, bila rasa dah okay, I sprayed on some Face Conditioning Fixer by Etude House.

6. Cleanser.

Bila nak cuci make up, jangan lupa guna make up remover okay!

Okay that's all for now I guess. Walaupun takde video tutorial, harap-harap dapat membantu bagi idea on the products that may be used okayy. I'm gonna make a little bit review on some of the products listed above insyaAllah. Kalau nak review on any products, tell me ehh.

Oh and for my daily make up used, actually a little bit different from this routine. And actually actually I jarang make up, bila rajin jeee hihihi.
