First of all, hiiiii dah lama tak updateeeee. I'd draft lots of topics in my mind, but dont have the spaces... or didnt make the space to post one. Oh before i forgot, i would like to appologize to those who'd commented or emailed me regarding pdf version of previous post..... the thing is it'd been awhile and i tak ingat i save dekat mana, sorry!
So.
Last few days, I've spent some of my annual leaves with my beloved husband, to Bangkok. We actually planned for this trip just A WEEK before the departure day. WOW. One of the most impromptu overseas trip I'd ever made.
Our theme for this trip is...... MAKAN! Nyum nyum.
Air Asia flight ticket for 2 persons + travel insurance + debit processing fees + 1x checked baggage 20 kg : RM 946.50.
Day 1 - 22/3/2019
Our journey started around 3 am. From our home, took a grab to KLIA2. Flight around 0740 , arrived at bangkok around 0855.
Again, we took a grab from airport to the hotel.
Check in at New Siam Palace Ville.
The room is nice with affordable price! + Breakfast included too.
Total 3D 2N : 3901.50 Baht
We initially planned to visit The Grand Palace, about 10 mins by car from our hotel, but....... we abort our mission due to long queue entrance ...... and we are not that type of people who's willing to stand for a long time in queue, especially under the heat xD
The sun really welcoming us with all its heart 😂
So... we decided to walk to our next on the schedule, which is Wat Arun. And..... eat along the way.
Weh the mango really chubby, and sweet!
Along the way, we met local people who's really friendly and suggested us to ride on the tuktuk (Nego up until 30 baht only per 2 pax) to go to the traditional boat. Dia cakap it's a nice experience to ride on the traditional boat, strolling around the river, stop by around 5 minutes at 'mini floating market', visit this one temple that had festival for a week and can stop at Wat Arun.
Dia cakap will cost us 1200 baht per pax. Katanya normally boat2 mcm ni akan kenakan around 3000 baht. Zzzzz taktahu lah betul ke tak.
Tapi kitorang layan jela. Tuk Tuk!
Then naik traditional boat, lebih kurang sejam.
And our last stop is at Wat Arun.
Entrance Ticket per pax : 50 baht.
Please dont go here in the afternoon..... like us 😂
But still, we managed to capture few lovely photos, by the help of Mr Tripod
Near Wat Arun, about 9 mins walking, there is one Halal Restaurant called 'Hava Halal Restaurant'. We find the route by the help of Google Maps 👍
It was just a small restaurant, but..... have aircond bro!

About 500 meters walking distance from this resturant, ada masjid tau.
Ton Son Mosque.
So we drop by mosque first before heading back to hotel, around 4 pm.
We took grab and went back to hotel for rest before our night-food-adventure.
Around 9 pm, we started back our Sabaiii Sabaiii journey.
Ratchada Train night market!
This is one of Bangkok's excitement; the night market!
Here got lots of street foods, clothes, souvenirs, gadgets, basic electrical appliances and lots more!
And got halal food stalls too!

Kari Ayam with steamed rice
And Ramen Tom Yam Goong
Total 150 Baht.
As usual, I'm enjoying my food.

And.... the highlight is......
Banana roti!
Me and Muadz had mutual agreement that.... banana roti ni sedap giloooo.
And coconut smoothies here are soooo deliciousssss.
After strolling around Ratchada Market, we decided to sign off for Day 1 Sabaii Sabaii journey and go back to hotel.
Day 2 - 23/3/2019
Basically our theme for this day is.... shopping!
But first we had our breakfast first for fuel hiksss.
And video call-ing abah for vitamin day

Ready for the journey, we took grab to Chatuchak Market! Oooooooooh, i loved it here! So many budget things to buy with so many choices..... Wiki cakap it is the largest market in Thailand and has more than 15000 stalls and 11505 vendors! Kurus wehhhh jalan sini :P
So please bring plain water k. A lot of happy walking needed here!
Ada orang pesan ni siap2. Passport holder + name + one logo free.
Range around 60-80 baht je per pc! Around rm 7- rm 15.
And ada stalls jual Coconut ice cream!
And and stalls jual juice.
Eh, juice dia dekat sini sedapnyaaaaaa. Taktahu berapa kali dah kitorang beli coconut smoothies, mango smoothies...
And...... ada few sections for Muslim food too!

Then after refill our fuel, we restart our journey! Weh serious geram kat sini.......

Before kitorang balik, rezeki Muadz sempat jumpa dengan vendor atas motor yg jual Ice Coffee Thailand!

Sebab Muadz pakai baju tulis 'Malaysia', before kitorang balik terserempak dengan Malaysian ahahahahah so dia cakap "Brader yg pakai baju Malaysia, boleh tolong tangkap gambar kitorang tak? Percaya sikit nak bagi kamera ni" , in exchange he offer to tangkap gambar kitorang jugak ahahahahaha

Around 4 pm + we decide to sign off, took grab and back to hotel.

Around 7-8pm , we started our journey to Khaosan Road! Reach in about 10 minutes walking from our hotel.
And i found this!

Had Pad Thai as my dinner. Ada satu kedai halal dekat sini nama dia Aaeesah Roddee. Tapi ada juga halal vendor jual Kebab area sini

After the whole day of makan and shoppings, we signed off for day 2. Happy happy day!

Bye Bye Bangkok..... Tak puas makan banana roti lagi!

All in all, we really enjoy our journey here in Bangkok, even just for few days, even plan few days before beli ticket xD
Tips, jangan buat outdoor activity waktu tengah hari, panaih lit lit. Dekat market dia, jangan lupa tangkap gambar signage kalau macam berkenan dekat kedai tu tapi nak survey tempat lain pulak. Hahahaha.
